The Taeger Cupsole
THE CUPSOLE IS THE UNDERSTATED, REFINED COUNTERPART TO THE TECH RUNNER.
Created by Taeger to act as an everyday wear, the Cupsole takes inspiration from iconic sneakers, marrying all of their strengths into one contemporary, luxury piece. Polyurethane coats, ripstop cargoes, and gabardine trousers all look at home with the Cupsole, as do classic mid-wash jeans and a printed tee.
As is the Taeger way, there was no compromising on sustainability. The Cupsole was designed with minimising its ecological impact at its heart. An outsole made of rubber, a material of natural and sustainable origin, which is manufactured out of latex "milked" from the para rubber tree (i.e. without cutting the tree). During the molding process the rubber is mixed with recycled grains of waste rubber from inside the outsole factory, thus reducing the waste of the production process. Even the full leather lining of the Cupsole is made of chrome free leather, making this our most sustainable full leather sneaker.
Available in Blanc, for those who want a highlight piece on feet, and Noir, for those chasing a more understated aesthetic.
